EU Certification operates in all European countries and incorporates the laws and regulations of different countries as part of its certification process. This uniform certification indicates that the company fulfils the legislative criteria required in each country.
A company issued with a responsibility certificate is provided with a unique ID, which the company can use in its own marketing, such as on the company's website. The ID can also be used by customers to check the company's basic information and the validity of the certificate in the EU Certification Online service at any time.
EU Certification maintains company information in its information systems, and checks the information regularly against the registers of various authorities. If discrepancies are found in the company's operations, EU Certification will first send a notification of the issue to the company representative so that the issue can be corrected. If the issue is not corrected within an appointed deadline, the company's positive EU certification rating will be cancelled.
